Raynes Park Community Church, a part of The Salvation Army, is made up of local people who are captivated by the story of Jesus, and trying to authentically follow Him in twenty-first century London life. The church is formed of a diverse group of people who enjoy spending time with one another, and love to get involved in making the world a better place.
Kerry Coke, church co-leader, explains how they are doing this: 'We are committed to seeing everyone in our church and community flourish - whether that's a new parent attending our Babysong group, or a sponsored refugee family building a new life in the neighbourhood; somebody discovering or deepening their faith at our worship gatherings, or working with schools and businesses to eradicate modern slavery; building partnerships with others to tackle the housing crisis, or praying with someone in our prayer cafe - to us, it's all part of living out the story of Jesus. You'd be most welcome any time, we would love to meet you!'
Every Sunday the church community gathers for an informal and creative service from 10.30am at The Scout Hut, 106 Cottenham Park Road, Raynes Park, London SW20 0SX.Visit website
