MyRaynesPark Festival is a community arts festival for the residents of SW20. It’s a gift from the local churches to the local residents. We aim to celebrate SW20, bring top-quality events and artists into Raynes Park, support local artists, venues and businesses, highlight some justice issues you can get involved with, and generally have a good time whilst doing all that!
Our next summer festival will take place in June 2016.
MyRaynesPark Festival happens thanks to a group of local volunteers from different churches, local businesses, arts organisations. It’s funded, managed and delivered by local churches who want to be good news in the community. Check us out below.
We are a Church of England congregation, with services at 8am, 10am, 11.30am and 6.30pm each Sunday that are a blend of the traditional and the contemporary. We hope to be an open, inclusive church serving the people of West Wimbledon. We seek to express and share the love of God which is for everyone in our worship and in our social life.
We are a friendly, informal church with 4 services each Sunday; a wide age range celebration with lots of children (10am); a Korean Language service (1pm); a family service with kids tea straight afterwards (4pm); a service for mainly young professionals (7pm). All focus on relevant and faithful Bible teaching, with an informal style and contemporary music.
We are a Church of England congregation drawn from all ages and learning more about God together. With a range of services, social events and activities we have been part of our community for more than 100 years. We enjoy God and each other and have a warm welcome for anyone who wants to visit us.
We are an English-speaking congregation that is part of the London Full Gospel Korean church, who meet just up the road from us on West Barnes Lane. We’re international in composition, having people worshipping with us from all over the world. We meet at 9am every Sunday morning, and would love to have you come and join us.
We are a welcoming, friendly and informal church made up of people of all ages, from many races and cultures representing all the continents. In our Sunday worship services we learn about Jesus Christ through teaching from the Bible and use contemporary music in our praise to God. We have vibrant activities for children on Sunday mornings at the same time as the service and also during the week.
Life in our church is warm, inclusive, passionate, creative and generous. We love to laugh, talk, listen, ask tough questions, celebrate life and encourage each other along the way. In truth, with so many kids around, it is often noisy and a little bit messy.
We have been an active and serving part of the Raynes Park community for 100 years. Our weekly service offers worship that is open to all. Refreshments served afterwards ensure that a warm welcome and opportunities for new friendships are guaranteed!
Sacred Heart is one of the largest Roman Catholic parishes in England. We are a dynamic community that has been a place of worship for over a century. People of all ages work, study, pray and share their lives together here. We invite you to explore, discover and visit Sacred Heart.
We are part of the Wimbledon Team Ministry (Church of England) and have been serving the people of this area since the early 1900s. Our church community is diverse, friendly and inclusive: we welcome the faithful and the doubtful. The worship is formal but joyful and involves all ages and all five senses!
We are a dynamic and growing, multi-cultural, all-age church of ordinary people who worship in Seaforth Avenue, New Malden. We simply believe the Bible… Love Jesus… and try to tell everyone about it! We have been serving this community since 1906. Our motto is ‘Win, Mend, Train, Send’.
